Architectural shingles are becoming more popular mainly because better aesthetics and adding value to the home. But these shingles are also superior to the three tab.

To create the dimensional of the architectural shingle, they are essential two shingles lamented together. So they are twice as thick. Year warranties usually start at 30 and go up to a lifetime warranty.

Wind ratings also start at 70 mph and move up to 120+ mph. Of course these shingles cost more, but not as much as you might think. Plus the extra perk of added value to your home makes the extra cost an investment.
